Koop Technologies is looking for a Full-Time/Part-Time Software Engineering Intern

What You’ll Do:

  • Build modern web applications using ReactJS, Node.js and Typescript
  • Ship new features end-to-end: from idea to design, implementation, testing, debugging, deployment, instrumentation, and documentation
  • Build services and workflows in serverless and microservices cloud architectures
  • Learn to use shell, git, Github, Jira, and AWS
  • Contribute to developing various products in the emerging Autonomous Vehicle industry
  • Work under mentorship of experienced software engineers

Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field
  • Experience developing software in a general purpose programming language
  • Examples of coding in one or more of the following programming languages: JavaScript, Python, Java or C++
  • Experience in Algorithms and Data Structures gathered from completing coursework, course projects, internships, open source development or individual projects
  • Strong problem solving, technical design and debugging skills
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience building web applications using modern frameworks: React/Redux, React Native, Angular
  • Knowledge of and experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
